DVD Disc Formats

Tailored Media Solutions offers the following disc formats for replication of DVD discs in minimums of 1000 units per title / program

DVD-5: single sided, single layer disc containing up to 4.7GB
DVD-9: single sided, dual layer disc containing up to 8.5GB
DVD-10: double sided, single layer disc containing up to 9.4 GB

Please note: it is most important to ensure that production masters are correctly authored and prepared for glass mastering / manufacture. Guidelines are listed in our DVD Master Specifications.

Packaging Options

Tailored Media Solutions offers a comprehensive range of printing and packaging ideas to compliment your DVD disc requirements. When creating your artwork, please refer to our artwork specifications. Standard options include:

Standard DVD Case (14mm Spine / Clear or Black) with printed outer sleeve
Slimline DVD Case (7 or 9 mm Spine / Clear or Black) with printed outer sleeve
DVD Traypack (Digipack)
Printed Inner Booklet (2 Page-24 page)
Printed cardboard outer DVD case cover
Cello over wrap / shrinkwrap

Manufacturing Lead Time

Tailored Media Solutions offers a 10 working day turnaround for all replicated disc requirements (including booklet printing and packing). Certain print applications (such as Tray Packs) require longer and need to be confirmed at time of placing order.

Faster Lead times can always be accomodated but need advance notice.
